Personal Matters is a Tokyo-based project label founded in 2023 by Daisuke Hamada.
We focus on Japanese craftsmanship and carefully selected high-quality natural materials, and propose contemporary and practical products that into your daily life based on the tranquil beauty of Japanese wabi-sabi. Our first product is manufactured by skilled craftsmen in Japan and focus on materials and details with understated yet well-tailored organic cotton shirts.

Daisuke Hamada studied fashion design in Tokyo, Paris, and London after studying architecture.
He started his own fashion brand Niuhans in 2010 and worked as a designer for about 12 years.
